The Story

20 folk from all walks of life were invited to be eyetracked.

They watched a 9 minute film of

4 simultaneous narratives.

4 films presented from the point of view of each character.

The eyetracking data triggers voiceovers, close up, mid shots and wide shots of each character's progress.

These personalised experiences of a 9 minute film experiment
generates a different film experience.

Each film experience is presented in the space:
Sara & Josh on one wall,
Man & Woman on the other.
Meanwhile the triggered voiceovers wash over and surround
the spectators.

The Viewer directs his/her own experience.

4 characters,

Sara, Josh,
Man & Woman
bound in a circular narrative.

Sara & Josh contemplate young love.

Man & Woman reflect regret and stagnation.

4 monologues caged in domestic docility
scream out to be freed.

Calling out for your ATTENTION.

Chronos, Father Time, sees all and decides it is time for a wake up call.

4 films shot from point of view camera work exploring various parts of Edinburgh.

Seemingly everyday activities from day dreaming
to cooking a big breakfast culminate in an alarming paradox.
